Meet the Kalavati Change Crew!
The Kalavati Change Crew are part of a team, that for the last 15 years have helped individuals and teams to create change in their life and business, so that they can do more, have more and most importantly BE more. The Mama of Kalavati Founder, The Director & Writer of Kalavati. Jo Hazelhurst assists executives, business owners and managers to develop themselves as leaders; and that of their teams. Jo’s job is to ask “What do you want?” and “What are you doing about it?” She has been coaching and facilitating personal growth since 1994. Jo spent two years coaching with Raizcorp Business Prosperator under the mentorship of CEO, Allon Raiz (Young Global Leader 2008), studying the success building blocks of entrepreneurship. Jo writes a column for Business Report called ‘Learn to Lead’, and has a virtual library of free resources that services over 90 countries. Jo has worked with corporate, government, NGO’s, Cosatu, artists, prisons, schools and the public sector. She specializes in using theatre, martial arts, dance and music integrated with coaching and mind fitness training. She has her honours at Wits (BADA) specialized in using theatre for change and her Advanced Professional Mentoring and Coaching qualification through Unisa. She is a member of Commensa since 2007. Jo is a Mentor for The Women In Finance Business Network and The Mostert Scholarship Foundation. Jo writes, trains in karate, and enjoys meditation and outdoor adventures with her friends. Zola Kalavati - Writer, photographer and researcher. Zola Gule has worked with South African musicians, writers and photographers over the last few years. She studied at the Market Photoworkshop. She is currently interning to become a coach and a facilitator. She runs marathons and is a mother of three.

Contributors Mercia Our Eldership and Chief of Cartoons. Mercia Komen is our mentor and guide and one of the best fieldwork facilitators in the world. Her passion is the environment. Currently Mercia is building a beautiful retreat center in the hills of Magaliesberg, next to The Cradle of Humankind. She is also the Chief of Cartoons. Ethel and Dave - Jo's Right Handers, Editor and Chief Support Officer. Actually, Ethel Hazelhurst is Jo's secret key to success. Yip, it's Jo's Mom. She does the hard labor of editing the articles. She is also the Chief Support Officer along with Jo's Dad, David Hazelhurst. Without Jo's parents, this site wouldn't be here. Ethel is a financial journalist and David is a journalist and creative designer.
