Emerging Facilitation Technologies
1. Facilitation technology: I learned these emerging facilitation technologies in 2004 and 2005 when I was trained as a coach for southern Africa by the UNDP Leadership program (Sharon Knoll May 2004). The UNDP developed critical facilitation technology for people to use during coaching, training and facilitation programs. These can be used in a wide range of processes. From a peer facilitation program to 1-1 leadership coaching. With permission this has been sourced from the UNDP Leadership Program (2004) developed the following four technologies for facilitators, coaches, leaders, managers and change agents to work with. - Cognitive Maps,
- Distinctions,
- Conversations for Transformational Leadership,
- and Practices for Transformational Leadership.
2. Internet and software technology: Everyday new technologies are released. Facilitation happens online bringing people from around the world together in one platform. To be continued...
